An exquisite whisky from Glenrothes and Gordon & MacPhail, who have bottled it for their highly esteemed Connoisseurs Choice range.

This dram was distilled in 1988, and aged in a single refill American oak hogshead for 30 years, during which time it developed staggering complexity and depth.

This bottling delivers oodles of creamy vanilla flavours, alongside notes of butterscotch, peach, apricot, red apple, crunchy malt, dark oak, allspice, chocolate and buttered cornbread.

The whisky is presented at a hefty 58.5% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration.

Just 200 bottles were drawn from the cask, each coming with their own wooden display case.
