Del Maguey Minero Mezcal is packaged in a unique green colored bottle, this is distinctive to the brand Del Maguey. This unique mezcal is floral and fragrant with prominent notes of cooked agave, slight hints of sweet vanilla, and caramelized figs with a burnt honey flavor and a bit of citrus lemon. The finish is sweet, warm, and lingering. 

History
Del Maguey Minero Mezcal is a special limited edition spirit that is produced from Vino De Mezcal™ series made in remote Santa Catarina Minas, and the name Minero is used by several brands that have production in the small town. Madrecuixe is a wild tall cylindrical maguey like Tobasiche with leaves that grow from the ground up as opposed to Tobasiche that sheds its lower leaves as it grows leaving a bare dry cylindrical piña. These mature Madrecuixes have been earth-roasted, fermented with airborne microbes, that has been twice distilled, and unblended, the centuries-old Oaxacan, hand crafted way.
