This mead is based on Danish traditions by adding snaps in the mix. This makes Klapøjster Mjød stronger than the traditional mead and get an aftertaste of snaps, but still retains mead sweetness and rich characteristics.

Klapøjster mead is like our other mead based on honey and water, but with inspiration from a traditional Danish tradition we have mixed this mead with schnapps. This means that Klapøjster mead will be stronger than the traditional mead and get an aftertaste of schnapps, but still retains mead sweetness and rich characteristics.
