A fine French VS Cognac virtually unknown in North America… until now.

Most people have never heard of Bache Gabrielsen Congac. We hope to change that. This Cognac House located in the city of Cognac has been making fine Spirits since 1905. Four generations of family have run the stills. But early on it became the top-selling Cognac in the Scandinavian market, and since they stayed small, it was all they could do to keep up with demand in Norway and Finland. But Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen — the fourth generation to lead the company — is seeing to it that the rest of us get a chance to experience his fine French dram.

Bache Gabrielsen Tre Kors Fine Cognac is a VS Cognac made from 75% Fins Bois and 25% Grande and petite Champaign grape Eaux de Vie. The blend has been aged in Limousin oak for a minimum of two years. It is presented in a clean, modern, and elegant bottles at 40% ABV. It is warming and fruit-forward with tinge of vanilla toffee and sultanas. Skol!

Smartass Corner:
Since this Cognac has been made in France and marketed in Scandinavia for more than one hundred years, the release has a Danish name. "Tre Kors" translates from Danish as "three crosses" and is reflected in the three small crosses emblazoned on the label.
